Pumpkin Brie.

1 Can pumpkim mix.

1 Wheel of Brie cheese.

1 Pack of puff pastry.

1 Tsp cinnamon.

1 Tsp nutmeg.

1/4 Cup melted butter.
Heat oven 350 F.

Mix canned pumpkin with cinnamon and nutmeg until blended. Place mixture into fridge to cool. Take the wheel of Brie and cut thru the center dividing the top circle from the bottom circle. Spread spiced pumpkin mixture into the bottom half of the brie wheel and place the top half of the brie wheel covering the pumpkin mix. Unwrap the puff pastry and carefully flatten it out. Brush the pastry lightly with melted butter to coat. Place the stuffed pumpkin brie wheel into the center of the puff pastry. Pull up the edges of the puff pastry and wrap the wheel. Brush the outside of the pastry with the melted butter and bake in the oven 10 minutes or until brown. Allow to cool and serve with gourmet crackers.

This is my favorite!!! I do this almost every other weekend... Well this recipe is very simple and also is not expensive at all. It does not have to be Halloween or Thanksgiving to use pumpkin. It is very taste and has an amazing flavor. This appetizer is good with a glass of white wine. I always do this recipe when I am going to have my girlfriends home for a little get together. They love it. Also it is good to combine it with red seedless grapes.
